Sir Tom Jones apparently had to abandon filming on The Voice to fly to the US for an Oscars rehearsal.
The Welsh star, who is returning to the BBC One talent show for its second series, had to rush off to Los Angeles to prepare for a special performance at the Academy Awards, The Sun reports.
Thunderball crooner Sir Tom is set to sing alongside Dame Shirley Bassey as part of the award show's 50th anniversary celebration of James Bond movies.
A source told the newspaper: "It'll be a fantastic way to mark the occasion - getting the two artists who performed 007's most iconic theme tunes together on the same night."
"Dame Shirley can do a medley of Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker while Sir Tom can belt out his signature song."
