Trainor, Styles recorded love song

Meghan Trainor has revealed that she has recorded a love song with Harry Styles that they wrote together.

The All About That Bass star added that she was particularly impressed by Harry's writing skills when putting the experience of being in love into lyrics.

She told The Sun of their track: "It's real. It's a duet. It's a beautiful song we wrote together on my ukelele. We even recorded a rough demo with our vocals together. It's a cute acoustic love thing."

She continued: "It's one of the first cool things I got to do with a pop star. A friend of mine said Harry was a fan and said he would love to write with me.

"He's an incredible writer, too. I was worried he'd just be a 20-year-old boy, so I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics.

"I was like, 'Well damn, Harry, you know what love is.'"

But Meghan was quick to confirm there was no romance between the two of them - or, in fact, with anyone else.

Asked if there was anything between them, she said: "No, definitely not - we're good friends. But I adore all the One Direction boys. Every time I meet them I'm like, 'Hi, you're all perfect.' But they're One Direction and I'm just a girl from Massachusetts.

"Plus, I can't date another pop star. They're all too busy. What's crazy is that everyone I meet is all taken. Every single one. Even all the girls. They're all dating people. I'm like, 'What's up with that?' We're meant to be rockers.

"Everyone seems to have a soulmate and they've found them already. But I definitely don't."
