Trent Reznor to score Gone Girl

Nine Inch Nails rocker Trent Reznor has confirmed he and Atticus Ross will compose the film score for David Fincher's new film Gone Girl.

The rock star and the British composer previously worked together on the soundtracks for David's films The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Trent tweeted: "Yes, Atticus and I are scoring David Fincher's upcoming Gone Girl!"

The pair won an Oscar for their work on the multi-award winning The Social Network in 2010.

Gone Girl, a thriller, is based on the book by Gillian Flynn. Ben Affleck will star as the husband of a woman who goes missing, who ends up becoming a suspect in her disappearance. Rosamund Pike will play his wife.

Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris also star in the film.
