Undertones join Tennent's Vital

The Undertones have joined the line-up for the upcoming Tennent's Vital festival.

The New Wave legends, who reformed in 1999, will perform on the first day of the music event in Northern Ireland.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the band's song Teenage Kicks and it is expected to be among the hits they play during their set.

Rapper Naughty Boy and Dublin rockers The Minutes have also joined the line-up at the Belfast festival, which runs from August 14 to 16.

Other acts already on the bill include Kings Of Leon, Snow Patrol, Avicii, Tinie Tempah and Jason Mraz. Rudimental and The Vaccines will also be performing.
