Union J in V Fest ice cream dare

Union J are planning a special dare for this year's V Festival

Union J are rumoured to be planning a man vs food style contest at this year's V Festival.

The boy band are famed for setting each other obscure dares while on their UK tour and then uploading the stunts to YouTube.

Now, the boys are planning to hold a chilly challenge at V Festival's Virgin Media Louder Lounge at the Chelmsford site, with an ice cream eating contest.

Organisers have been asked to ship in extra ice cream in all of the boys' favourite flavours to help in their quest to find the band's icy champion.

All four lads are keen to win as the loser will have to endure an evening at the festival wearing a pair of stilettos.

Virgin Media's Louder Lounge is V Festival's VIP area and will play host to plenty of special guests over the weekend.

The V Festival takes place on August 17-18, at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire.
