Usher postpones tour for Voice role

Usher has postponed his European tour until autumn 2013

Usher has pulled the plug on his UK and European gigs after landing a role as a coach on the US version of talent show The Voice, and being given the care of his two sons.

The dates, including a concert at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena for February, have now been put back until the autumn of next year.

Promoters of the Euphoria tour apologised and said the postponement was "to ensure that his fans worldwide are treated to the best possible concert experience".

They said it was due to his "professional and personal commitments", and followed his commitment to the US singing show.

In a message to fans, the US Pop Ya Collar star said: "The feeling of euphoria that I get when performing for you is indescribable. I love each and every one of you and thank you for being there every step of the way.

"I truly appreciate and am grateful for your support while I take this time to focus on my children and continue to evolve with my fans. Evolve or evaporate."

The father-of-two was last month given primary care of the children he had with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Gemini:

You never do anything in moderation. Attend every fun party, accept every juicy offer and try all the delectable treats spread before you. Avoid unpleasant people and activities like the plague. This should be a time of enjoyment. Leave your list of chores at home. You can always attend to these jobs at another time. If you have a chance to show your creative work to a publisher, manager or agent, go ahead. This is also a great opportunity to go on job interviews, auditions and first dates.More
