Emma Watson has admitted she grew up wanting to be Baby Spice.

The Bling Ring actress was a huge fan of the Wannabe singers when she was a child and was desperate to be Emma Bunton whenever she and her friends played at being the Spice Girls, reported The Sun.

"I wanted to be Emma Bunton. She was so, so cute.

"I had a friend called Ellie and we would fight because she had blonde hair. So she thought she should get to be Emma and I said my name was Emma. This went on for months."

Emma, 23, has previously told how she was obsessed with the girl power group when she was young.

Last year the former Harry Potter actress tweeted when the group were reunited at the Olympics, saying: "Spice girls spice girls spice girls!!! #closingceremony."
