White to release new solo album

Former White Stripes frontman Jack White is set to unveil a new solo album.

The Dead Weather and Raconteurs star will release solo offering Lazaretto on Third Man Records/Columbia on June 10.

The record comes two years after the singer-songwriter released his solo debut Blunderbuss, to critical acclaim .

Jack has already given fans a taste of his new music by releasing an instrumental track called High Ball Stepper as a YouTube video.

His new album's lead track will be released later this month.

The 38-year-old is also working on a third album from his group the Dead Weather, following on from their 2010 release Sea Of Cowards.
