Michelle Williams has revealed she is getting ready to release her first album in almost five years.
The Destiny's Child star has been busy working on her fourth solo effort, the follow up to 2008's Unexpected, and has now confirmed it is due out this summer.
The 32-year-old told Billboard the as-yet-untitled album is an "urban inspirational record".
Michelle worked with producer Harmony Samuels on most of the songs on the album. She explained that it came about after Harmony produced a song on Kelly Rowland's new album, which features her Destiny's Child bandmates Michelle and Beyonce.
Waiting On You singer Michelle said: "They were like, 'Michelle, you gotta work with Harmony!'."
The new album will be issued on Michelle's own imprint and distributed by eOne Music.
