Two lucky fans of US rock band the Counting Crows are being offered the chance to get their hands on the best seats in the house for their Belfast show in December.

The Californian band, who have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, play the Odyssey Arena on Sunday, December 21, with special guests The Hold Steady and Melee.

The rockers, whose singles include Mr Jones and the Oscar-nominated Accidentally In Love, which features in Shrek 2, already have a Belfast connection.

Heavily influenced by local singer Van Morrison, frontman Adam Duritz filled in for him when he failed to show at his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow and there is expected to be huge interest. The Belfast Telegraph and MCD have teamed up to offer six pairs of tickets for the concert, including the first pair of tickets to be printed off.

The winner of this pair will be given two front row tickets — ensuring them an up-close, personal experience with the band.
