Witherspoon 'too old' to play Nicks

Singer Stevie Nicks says Reese Witherspoon is too old to play her in a movie

Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks has said Reese Witherspoon is "too old" to play her in a movie.

The singer-songwriter said that Legally Blonde actress Reese would have been her first choice for the role, but that at 37 she's now too old.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Canada, she said: "I've already told [Reese] she's almost too old... I love her, but she's like, 'I could play your mother.' I'm like 'OK'."

Stevie was speaking at the Toronto premiere of her new documentary, In Your Dreams, about the making of her first solo album in 10 years.

Reese won an Oscar for her role as June Carter, singer and wife of Johnny Cash, in the 2005 biopic Walk The Line.

Don't confuse love with lust. Having a physical relationship with someone isn't an indication of emotional commitment. If you're with someone who doesn't want to spend time with you outside the bedroom, move on to greener pastures. It's sometimes difficult to face the truth of a situation like this. When in doubt, talk to a trusted friend. They'll give you an honest assessment of this bond. A relative may ask to come to their rescue. Fortunately, you have the necessary resources to bail them out.More
