Wretch 32 leads UMA nominations

Wretch 32 has six nominations and is looking forward to the Urban Music Awards in September

Wretch 32 may not have released his debut album Black And White yet, but he's already flying high with a record six nominations at the Urban Music Awards.

The 26-year-old London rapper, who has already won praise from fellow music stars Tinie Tempah, Adele and Liam Gallagher, leads the nods, which include Artist of the Year, Best Hip-Hop Act and Best Male Artist.

"I am extremely excited to be nominated for this year. This is amazing news," he said.

"The Urban Music Awards has led to a successful commercial urban music scene in the UK and Europe and I have always wanted to be at the UMAs. Thanks to all the fans who nominated me and I can't wait till the show in September."

Wretch 32 - whose real name is Jermaine Scott - is set to battle it out against Jessie J and Example, who both have four nominations each.

JLS, Chipmunk, Dappy from N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah and newcomer Lock Essien - who scored a top 10 hit with his single How We Roll - have also received nods.

The ninth annual Urban Music Awards, which are decided by public votes, will be held in London on September 14.

This is a good time to establish a routine. Create a schedule that strikes a nice balance between your personal and professional lives. You're the type of person who needs plenty of intellectual stimulation outside of work. If you've been spending too much time at the office, reduce your hours. This may mean less money, but you can't put a price on happiness. You might even decide to take a job with unconventional hours so you can play sports or spend more time outdoors.More
