Sultry X Factor senorita Ruth Lorenzo will take to the stage for her first live performance in Northern Ireland next month.
In an exclusive coup, the raunchy Spaniard — who shone during this year’s X Factor — will make her live debut in the province at the Flybe/Sunday Life Spirit of Northern Ireland Awards ceremony in Belfast on January 20.
In what is expected to be one of the hottest concert appearances of 2009, Ruth is set to sizzle with a selection of songs which helped make her one of the best-loved stars of the ITV talent series at the Ramada Hotel.
The 26-year-old from Murcia, south-eastern Spain, wowed millions with her powerful rock chick vocals on classics including Prince’s Purple Rain, Bob Dylan’s Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door and Take That’s Love Ain’t Here Anymore.
Just last Thursday Ruth turned even more heads — appearing at The X Factor’s after-series party in London in a figure-hugging, plunging neckline red dress.
Tickets for the event will go on sale in the New Year.
