Rain falling up, Waterfront Hall, Belfast, Saturday, March 20, 7pm

Brian Irvine (right) is Associate Composer with the Ulster Orchestra and his latest composition is intriguingly called Rain Falling Up. Brian’s company Dumbworld is presenting it in association with the Ulster Orchestra.

With words by John McIlduff, the work tells the magical story of one little boy’s relationship with gravity and the world around him. The performers will include 350 singing primary school children, and two community choirs. Tickets and information available on www.waterfront.co.uk

When it flutters with excitement, you should move forward. This will be a surprisingly accurate barometer. Don't disparage it.More
