Kings Hall goes gaga for the dazzling Dolls
Wednesday, 4 February 2009
Lady Gaga set the tone of the evening at Belfast’s Kings Hall with her own particular brand of electronic pop. The eye catching songstress wowed the crowd as she belted out the tunes in a silver-sequined bikini, the perfect opening act to get the crowd going.
Pussycats Dolls, love them or hate them, certainly know how to put on a show.

Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger can certainly hit her notes and she was ably assisted by her fellow bandmates.
The girls are known for their raunchy outfits, sexy dancing and fantastic pop tunes, not terribly surprising for a group which originally started as a burlesque troupe, roots that were well remembered in their routines last night.
Making their entrance astride motorbikes, they burst onto the stage with the hit Beep, driving the crowd into a frenzy.
The entire audience, old and new were on their feet as they pumped out such hits as I Don’t Need A Man To Make It Happen, When I Grow Up and I Hate This Part.
The girls strutted and sparkled their stuff all over the stage and through every single track.
Although the group has courted controversy in the past, the answer to the question ‘would you take your daughter to see the Pussycat Dolls?’ was well answered, as the audience contained those as young as seven, enjoying every minute of it. An excellent show.

I was at the concert last nite it was a brill show although I though Lady Ga Ga was much better for being her first tour. Mayb its cause i like the electro pop music she plays, but apart from that pussycat dolls were amazing too. Bit out of tune thought apart from Nicole. Is the one with the red hair a man or is dat rumors???

yeah fair point Armagh Boy, 26 is good. Thats a might fine looking drag queen to me Doll! :-)
Lewis, I appreciate from your point of view it isnt great a load of BT readers drooling over your missus and her chums but tough you overpaid, lucky git! Now run along and get some character like Senna, Hunt or Irvine plus some Super Schumacher skills and make Britain more proud of you! Love Soarer

Doll - is there not a rumour (as yet unsubstantiated) that one of them was - or possibly still is - a fella? If so, then that could explain pic no 25.
By the way, I heard a work colleague (he's probably mid to late 20's) being called a "perv" this morning for being at the gig last night. So it's perverse for a fully-grown male adult to appreciate the beauty and overt sexuality of the Pussycat Dolls, but it's perfectly normal for kids as young as seven years old to be at the 18+ show?? The mind boggles...

I have to disagree about no.25 - looks a bit drag queen.

Correct armagh boy, 26 is the best photo there by a long stretch.
good work!

Kevin I'm speechless. Or rather I was speechless.

Get over yourself, Kevin. It is a review of an event that has already happened. Which tense do you feel it should have been written in?

Soarer,
What about 26?? Its the best by far
