Canadian indie duo and music's best-known identical twins after The Proclaimers, sisters Tegan and Sara Quin return to Belfast for the first time since 2008, appearing in the Mandela Hall on Monday in support of their 2009 album Sainthood, featuring the production talents of Death Cab For Cutie guitarist, Chris Walla.

Despite a long career which began in 1999, it was their fourth album release, So Jealous, in 2004, which first raised the profile of the twins beyond their homeland. They have toured with some of rock music’s biggest names, including Neil Young, The Pretenders, Bryan Adams and The Killers.

The sisters’ music has also featured on numerous well-known television shows, including 90210, Grey's Anatomy and Hollyoaks.
