Review: Craig David

Trust Me (Teacup)

He may have changed the image - with a new haircut and even more razor-sharp new suit - but when you scrape away the layers of polish on latest record Trust Me, you are not left with an awful lot of substance.

Even sampled snatches from greats like David Bowie and Diana Ross cannot save the album.

Don't get me wrong, David can sing - but there isn't much by the way of vocal-challenging on Trust Me.

Really only two tracks stand out - Kinda Girl For Me which samples Ross's You Are Everything and 6 of 1 Thing.
