Anthony Toner

Top local singer-songwriter Anthony Toner has followed the success of his album, A Sky For Every Day, with a new album, The Duke Of Oklahoma & Other Stories.

Having shared the stage with Nanci Griffith and Guy Clark, Toner has come up with yet another credible collection of contemporary roots songs in his latest offering.

Toner is currently touring in support of his new release and plays Downpatrick’s Down Arts Centre tonight, Enniskillen’s Ardhowen Theatre (Nov 28) and Portstewart’s Flowerfield Arts Centre (Dec 22).

Meanwhile, An Droichead (off the Ormeau Road) hosts one of Ireland’s greatest ballad singers Seamus Begley, tomorrow night.

Also on the bill is Tim Edey, one of the finest multi-instrumentalists on the Celtic scene.
