Abbey Clancy: I need cheering up
Abbey Clancy has made her first TV appearance since allegations surfaced about her footballer fiance Peter Crouch - and admitted she needs cheering up.
The model, 24, appeared not to be wearing her diamond engagement ring when she returned to present the fashion slot on This Morning, having missed the ITV daytime show for the last fortnight.
"I want a laugh. I need one," she said, when asked if she wanted to see a photograph from the 1970s of This Morning host Eamonn Holmes in flares.
Abbey, who was wearing a thigh-length striped black and white dress, presented a fashion item on jeans. She arranged for one of her male models to go bare chested and patted his muscular arms.
Seemingly talking about the small dog Daisy that the model was holding, she said: "No one cares about the jeans when you've got this. No one cares about what type of jeans they are."
Abbey showed off a large ring on her right hand but demonstrated that all is not well with Crouch, 29, by failing to flash her engagement ring.
She showed off a collection of "boyfriend" style, bootcut, maternity and skinny jeans on models.
Of the skinny jeans she said: "They're not the spray-on Russell Brand-type skinny jeans. They still leave a little bit to the imagination."
Her appearance comes after Crouch was pictured apparently flirting with other women, with snaps appearing to show him touching the thigh of a woman in a French nightclub.
Eamonn told Abbey when she finished her slot: "Welcome back, it's very nice to see you again."
