Abi Titmuss could feel baby moving during wedding ceremony
Abi Titmuss married her Days of Our Lives co-star Ari Welkom earlier this month (May17).
Abi Titmuss felt her unborn baby kicking as she tied the knot with her actor husband Ari Welkom earlier this month (May17).
The TV personality-turned-U.S. soap actress exchanged vows with Ari on 7 May at the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga, California while 21 weeks pregnant with their first child, and the 41-year-old was conscious of the fact that there was a third person involved in their romantic wedding ceremony.
"I was aware throughout our wedding day that there were three, not two, of us experiencing it together," she told Hello! magazine. "The baby is able to hear now and it was lovely to think that he or she could have been listening to us making our vows. When the harpist started to play, I could feel him or her moving around."
Abi, who met Ari when she moved to America three years ago and joined U.S. soap Days of Our Lives, became engaged to the actor in 2016 after he got down on one knee during a romantic break in Hawaii, but they only announced it in March (17), a month before they revealed their baby news.
The actress, now known professionally as Abigail Evelyn, shared pictures of their big day with the magazine and revealed she had "butterflies" as she was walked down the aisle in an ivory lace wedding dress, a full-length ivory veil and a floral crown.
"When I turned to look at her, I thought I was looking at an angel," Ari added. "She was more beautiful than I'd ever imagined she would be and, when she stopped in front of me, it was the happiest moment of my life."
The couple is now looking forward to welcoming their baby and starting their family together.
