Actor Adam Deacon has been charged with harassment.

The 31-year-old from east London, who won a Bafta Rising Star gong in 2012 for directing urban comedy Anuvahood, was charged yesterday.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Adam Deacon, 31, of Hollybush Gardens, E2, has been charged with one count of harassment on December 20.

"He has been bailed to appear at Hammersmith Magistrates' Court on a date to be fixed."

Adam, who is also a rapper, plays firearms officer Robbie in Channel 4 police drama Babylon.
