New Tricks star Amanda Redman has married her partner after 12 years - surrounded by TV pals.

Redman, known for her role as Sandra Pullman in the crime drama, tied the knot with Damian Schnabel in the grounds of 13th Century Maunsel House in Somerset yesterday.

Redman, who wore a dress by British designer Ritva Westenius, was joined by friends from her BBC1 series such as Dennis Waterman, Alun Armstrong and James Bolam.

Film hardman Ray Winstone gave a reading at the ceremony, while other friends at the event included Lynda Bellingham, Sheila Hancock and Celebrity Masterchef winner Lisa Faulkner.

Redman's daughter Emily Glenister - from her first marriage to actor Robert Glenister - was among the bridesmaids and also sang during the ceremony, as well as to accompany the couple's first dance.

A new series of New Tricks starts on Friday on BBC1 at 9pm.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
