Tamzin Outhwaite has told fans she was "shaken up" after her home was burgled while she slept.
The former EastEnders star, who played Mel Owen in the soap, took to Twitter to tell followers about the crime.
She said: "To the piece of s**t who broke in & burgled my house while my daughter & I slept & stole my mac/ iPad /2 mulberry hand bags/purses...
"Karma does not have a time limit & neither does CCTV."
The actress added: "We are fine. Just shaken up thank you so much for your concern!"
Tamzin has also appeared in Red Cap and Hotel Babylon since leaving Walford.
The 41-year-old, who has also appeared on stage, married actor Tom Ellis in June 2006 and they had a daughter in 2008.
