Adam Levine is buzzing off the excitement of becoming a dad for the first time.

Singer Adam Levine is so excited to be a father he's more than willing to spoil his pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo with whatever she wants.

The Maroon 5 frontman and the supermodel are preparing for the arrival of their first child and Adam can't contain his enthusiasm for the next chapter in his life.

"It's awesome," he tells E! News. "I'm going to be a dad. S**t, I'm excited. I'm going to be a f**king dad. I'm going to spoil Behati."

When asked whether he plans to do the same for their baby, rumoured to be a little girl, Adam quips, "Kid's not even out yet. Can't be spoiling a kid before a kid gets out."

Adam confirmed the baby news earlier this month (Apr16), by posting a sweet photo of his family on Instagram, featuring Behati wearing a Los Angeles Lakers cap with the team's name inscribed onto it, and the proud dad-to-be acknowledging his spouse and their unborn child by writing the caption: "My two favorite laker (sic) fans."

He signed off the loving message with emojis representing a baby, a bottle and a basketball.

The singer has previously spoken about his desire to start a family with the Namibian beauty, telling E! News, "(I want) like 17 (kids). Is that reasonable? I love kids so much, though. I love seeing kids on the set, too."

Adam and Behati wed in 2014. Both superstars have been making several adjustments in their personal lives to accommodate their expanding family - sources have recently reported they are putting their New York City and Los Angeles properties up for sale because they are interested in moving into a more kid-friendly home together.
