Behati Prinsloo can’t believe Adam Levine asked her to be his wife.

Behati Prinsloo recently became engaged to the Maroon 5 rocker.

The couple have been dating a year and had just reconciled after a brief break-up.

The Victoria’s Secret model gushed about the special moment Adam asked her to be his wife in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada Thursday.

"I am so happy and excited and still can't believe it's true!" she said, revealing details of the proposal.

"It was a one-knee thing! It was serious, it was very old school!"

Behati was pictured showing off her engagement ring to friends in New York City Wednesday night.

She told the outlet her new jewellery is “perfect”.

The 24-year-old also said they’re not rushing down the aisle.

“[We’re] just celebrating with our friends and family at the moment,” Behati explained.

A spokesperson for Adam, 34, confirmed the engagement on Tuesday.

"The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles,” his representative said.

Reports surfaced earlier this year Adam's family had encouraged him to pop the question. The feeling appeared to be mutual among Behati's family members.

The Namibia-born model’s mother called the rock star a "fine man" during an interview late last year.

Aquarius:

Trust your instincts regarding moneymaking offers. If a job seems too good to be true, it probably is. Working as part of a campaigning team will suit you down to the ground. You're more motivated to help people than turn big profits. Some friends will discourage you from entering such a field, fearing it won't be lucrative. Don't worry. You'll make a very good salary by doing what you love. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be miserable to earn a good living.More
