Adam Sandler is comedy character

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler is just like his comedy characters in real life, says Vanilla Ice.

The two stars appear in That's My Boy together, in which Adam plays a man who fathered a baby at a very young age.

The '90s rapper had high expectations when he first met Adam and was glad when they got along famously.

"Sure enough, he's actually like [his characters]," he laughed. "His office was a mess. He had toys, guitars, instruments, and drums everywhere, so I felt right at home.

"He does some silly stuff [on set], and then it just inspires you to get silly too. It's like when you're at home and nobody's watching...that's what we do. He has a way of capturing that. It's magic."

Singer Ciara also appears in the movie and was equally as enamoured with Adam. She was blown away when she was told she'd won a role in the picture and is a lifelong fan of the funnyman.

"Working with Adam is... amazing. It really is. It's surreal," she told ET Online.

"He's an icon. He's someone that I've always loved watching and I've always enjoyed... To be able to work alongside him... is a dream come true."

Fellow star Leighton Meester said teaming up with Adam on the project was "magical". She remains best known for her turn in US teen drama Gossip Girl and enjoyed stretching herself on the project.

"It's totally outside of... anything I've done before in terms of... the scale of the film and it being funny and [a] super raunchy, over-the-top-comedy," she added.

No matter how stringently your loved ones warn you, that won't stop you pursuing a romantic interest. You're utterly captivated by someone who exudes warmth, charisma and drama. The two of you get along very well, but beware of the financial toll this relationship will take. The object of your affection likes expensive things. If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
