Adele 'soaking up the showbiz lifestyle'

Published 05/12/2015

Adele is apparently enjoying hanging out with famous friends like Jennifer Lawrence, as it gives her some time away from her parenting duties.

Adele loves spending time with her new A-list pals, according to insiders.

The 27-year-old singer recently returned to the spotlight with her third album 25, which has already broken records following its release in November (15). As well as putting on various performances to promote her new material, Adele has also been mingling with some famous friends and was spotted out for dinner with Jennifer Lawrence, 25, and Emma Stone, 27, at the end of November (15).

"Adele met Jennifer at a showbiz bash and the pair had been texting for ages to get something in the diary," a source told Britain's Closer magazine. "Emma is a friend of Jennifer's and a huge Adele fan so the trio planned a night out together when they were all in New York. Adele loved having a proper girlie night out and they all enjoyed wine and had a giggle. They're all similar ages so it was nice for Adele to let her hair down and enjoy a rare night away from mummy duty."

Adele is a mother to son Angelo, three, with partner Simon Konecki and has been working hard to balance her musical comeback with family life. It isn't just the two actresses who are keen to hang out with her though, as former Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham is also on Adele's list of close pals. As a mother of four herself, the fashion designer is said to get on with Hello singer Adele like a house on fire.

"Victoria loves Adele and they've met up with their kids," the insider added. "Adele says Victoria is much funnier than people realise and she understands the pressure of being a mum in the showbiz world."

Despite her worldwide success, fame hasn’t changed Adele, according to Dean Piper of PR company Break Communications. He's known the star for years now and insists she'll always remain down to earth.
