Alan Carr has signed up to host a new talent show for Channel 4.

Broadcast reports that Alan will front the interactive singing contest which gives viewers voting power in real-time.

The Singer Takes It All, made by Big Brother TV firm Endemol, will broadcast in the late summer.

Fronted by Alan, the series features a moving stage that can be manipulated by viewers.

If the audience likes the act, the stage moves the singer forward to a "gold zone" at the front.

If they don't, they will be sent to the back and possibly out of the show.

Instead of trying to win over judges to land a record deal, contestants will compete for a cash prize.

Channel 4 head of entertainment Justin Gorman said that the show was "about being in the moment, not about recording contracts".

Sagittarius:

Working in isolation doesn't suit you. You're a social creature who gets your best ideas when collaborating with others. Unfortunately, that's not possible right now. Resign yourself to this difficult situation. If you do a good job, you'll pave the way for bigger and better assignments. Part of the problem is you lack experience. The only way to get the training you need is to do some volunteer work. Making a temporary sacrifice will eventually pay off. Be patient.More
