Alec Baldwin chastises paparazzo in angry rant
The fiery actor lashes out at a photographer for getting too close to his pregnant wife.
Actor Alec Baldwin has been caught on camera blasting a paparazzo again.
The 30 Rock star was with his pregnant wife, Hilaria, in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday (03May16), when he became incensed by a snapper who had spotted the couple outside a coffee shop.
In video footage of the incident, obtained by TMZ.com on Wednesday (04May16), Baldwin angrily confronts the photographer and loses his famous temper as he demands the man stop taking pictures of his wife.
"You're a f**king paparazzi piece of trash..." he fumed. "Stay away from my wife, you go that?"
When the cameraman tried to respond, Baldwin repeatedly cut him off, shouting, "Shut up... Stay away from my wife. I said shut up!"
The actor then stormed off and climbed into his parked car.
It's not clear what prompted Baldwin to lash out at the paparazzo, but he has previously expressed his disdain for members of the media after multiple run-ins in New York, where the couple lives with its two young children.
In November, 2013, he was accused of shoving a snapper into a car outside his Manhattan apartment building, a day after he raged at another Big Apple shutterbug for coming too close to his wife and their daughter Carmen, hours after Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin was convicted and jailed for stalking his family.
He was also previously involved in a separate altercation in August, 2013, and he was accused of hitting yet another photographer in 2012.
Ironically, in 2014, Baldwin admitted he was considering moving his family from New York to Los Angeles because of the increased paparazzi presence in the East Coast.
"L.A. is a place where you live behind a gate, you get in a car, your interaction with the public is minimal," he wrote in an essay for New York Magazine.
Baldwin's representative has yet to comment on the new altercation.
Yoga teacher Hilaria has become more open about her private life in recent years, after becoming a correspondent for U.S. entertainment show Extra. She is also a regular on social media, documenting her family life via Instagram.com and even using the photo-sharing app to announce her third pregnancy in March (16).
