Alec Baldwin ‘hurt tremendously’ by racist claims

Alec Baldwin’s pregnant wife Hilaria claims that her husband is in no way racist and that the couple is appalled by accusations that the actor called paparazzi derogatory racial slurs last weekend.

The 30 Rock star was allegedly approached by a writer from the New York Post last Sunday while walking his dogs outside his East 10th Street abode at around 10.50am.

In a police statement filed by the Post's photographer and retired NYPD detective G.N. Miller, Alec called him a “c**n, a drug dealer," after taking a photo of the actor with reporter Tara Palmeri.

G.N. said Alec “was saying some serious racist stuff” and “used all of the stereotypes associated with black people.”

In an interview with Extra, Alec’s pregnant spouse Hilaria made it clear that her beau is in no way racist.

“It’s not something that I would ever hear him say, and we have been hurt tremendously by it,” she explained.

“There were a lot of tears. My husband gets very frustrated and is just as upset about it. There are very few things that hurt more than to be falsely accused.

“I know my husband. I married him because she is the best guy I ever met in my life. I married him because he has a huge heart. We have friends of all different races and backgrounds.”

It isn't the first time Alec has had a spat with a photographer.

Last year, he was accused of attacking two cameramen in New York City.

Expectant Hilaria is worried about how aggressive paparazzi will impact family life when their new child arrives.

“It comes in waves. Whenever something happens, the paparazzi all know where we live. Tons of people taking your pictures, coming up with microphones, they come up very close,” she said.

“If they are doing this to us right know, imagine what is going to happen when we have a little baby? What is it going to like for our little kid?”
