Alec Baldwin has quit Twitter just days after marrying yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.
The 30 Rock star shut down his Twitter page on Monday after telling his followers: "It's been fun."
He repeated the message on the Twitter Page for the Alec Baldwin Foundation, which supports "the arts and artists, amateur and professional".
Alec has previously shared intimate details of his life on the social networking site, including his side of the story after his scuffle with a photographer last month, his strong opinions and his wedding-planning woes.
His Twitter account was previously deactivated last December after he was removed from a flight for playing mobile game Words With Friends, which became a dramatic event as he live tweeted being ordered to turn off his phone or leave the plane for take off.
Alec is already busy enjoying married life. He was pictured enjoying a family day out with his new wife and 16-year-old daughter Ireland - from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger - in New York's Alphabet City.
Meanwhile, the 54-year-old actor has just donated one million dollars to the New York Philharmonic, in honour of president and executive director Zarin Mehta's departure after 12 years.
Alec, who is a Philharmonic board member and hosts its radio show, The New York Philharmonic This Week, said in a statement that Zarin made his dream of becoming part of the world of classical music come true.
Zarin said Alec's "remarkably generous gift is just the latest in his steadfast and inspiring support" of the Philharmonic.
The Philharmonic said the gift is a donation of proceeds Alec received from a Capital One advertising campaign.
