Alec Baldwin’s wife tweets at Gandolfini funeral
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria tweeted throughout actor James Gandolfini’s funeral service in New York City on Thursday.
The 55-year-old 30 Rock actor is married to 28-year-old yoga instructor-and-TV personality Hilaria.
The couple are expecting their first child together and Hilaria is due to give birth sometime this summer.
The Sopranos actor James passed away in Italy last week after suffering a heart attack. Over 1,500 mourners attended his funeral service at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York City on Thursday.
Alec and Hilaria were tweeting up a storm during the ceremony.
Hilaria first wrote up a touching tribute to James and his legacy.
Moments later she asked her followers a very personal question that didn’t seem fitting with the environment she was in at the time.
“The circle of life is unbelievable--birth, life, death... Please take care of yourselves as life is fragile. Rest in Peace Jimmy,” she said.
“What did you do for your first wedding anniversary? What did you give your partner? Ours is coming up! (sic)”
She then promoted one of her summer smoothie recipes which was featured on the Rachael Ray show.
Following that retweet she wrote, “I'm sure you have some amazing recipes!”
Alec seemed a little more present with his tweets.
He acknowledged the huge loss of James and then posted a link to a news article about the funeral.
“The end of The Sopranos has a different meaning to me now. Rest in Peace, Jimmy.” Alec posted.
James leaves behind his teenage son Michael from a previous marriage, wife Deborah and their eight-month-old child Liliana.
The actor’s family has asked people to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project instead of sending flowers, as supporting veterans was dear to James’ heart.
