Alesha Dixon: 'Simon Cowell is the ultimate softy'
Alesha Dixon helped celebrate Disneyland Paris' 25th anniversary with her three-year-old daughter Azura at the French theme park.
Alesha Dixon has shattered Simon Cowell’s Mr Nasty image by calling him a big softy.
The British popstar sits alongside Simon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden on Britain's Got Talent, and while he can be harsh to the acts vying to impress him, Alesha says away from the camera he has “a really big heart”.
“He's actually a big softy and he has a really big heart,” she smiled to Cover Media about the father-of-one when asked what Disney villain Simon is like.
Simon has previously admitted that becoming a father to his three-year-old son Eric, with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, has softened him when it comes to judging wannabes on the TV talent shows he sits on.
Alesha was talking at the 25th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. The former Mis-Teeq star took time out from her judging duties to visit the French theme park, with Alesha’s three-year-old daughter Azura joining in the celebrations too.
“It was a lovely day for all involved. I especially loved chatting to the children, they were very sweet. Azura had a fabulous day too,” she smiled.
And when it comes to the advice she’d share with the talented children who try out for Britain's Got Talent Alesha said: “The most important thing is self belief. Never be afraid of hard work and when things don't work out for any particular reason try and learn from it and become stronger as a result. The power of your attitude towards something will usually determine the outcome.”
Series 11 of Britain's Got Talent kicked off on Saturday (15Apr17), with Simon pressing his golden buzzer for 15-year-old Sarah Ikumu after she wowed with a rendition of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going from musical Dreamgirls.
