Alexander Skarsgård reveals Butch Cassidy moment
Alexander Skarsgård loved his "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid moment" with co-star and real-life friend Stephen Moyer.
The pair star in hit HBO series True Blood, and an upcoming storyline sees their characters enjoying a newfound friendship. Alexander - who plays vampire Eric Northman - is excited about the bond with Stephen's on-screen persona Bill Compton.
"I had a lot of fun exploring the fact that Eric is surprised by [the new friendship]. I enjoyed that aspect where he's suddenly [looking at] Bill, this kid in Eric's eyes that he never cared about, suddenly he finds himself protective and taking care of him. That's not a feeling that Eric is comfortable with, because it makes him feel vulnerable," he told MTV News at Comic-Con.
"After four years of Bill and Eric butting heads, it's been a lot of fun because Stephen is obviously a dear friend of mine, it's just been fun to play the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid moment."
Meanwhile, True Blood hunk Joe Manganiello has teased about the upcoming steamy content in the show. The star - who plays werewolf Alcide Herveaux in the series - is eager to cause some havoc on screen when it comes to relationships and romance.
"I sexually eviscerate another cast member in one of the episodes coming up," he shared at Comic-Con, before creator Alan Ball added about the hotly-anticipated storylines: "There are some very hot sex scenes and there are some wacky, 'what the f**k' crazy [scenes]. Between those two, I think all tastes will be satisfied."
