Ali Landry is expecting her third child with husband Alejandro Monteverde at the age of 39.

The 39-year-old model-and-actress is expecting her third child with husband Alejandro Monteverde.

Ali confirmed the happy news to the public on Wednesday.

“My family gives me more joy than I thought possible, and my career fulfills me tremendously,” she blogged on People.com.

The mother-of-two added that the new addition has come at the perfect time.

“All in all, I feel like am in the exact place I am supposed to be in, doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing,” she continued.

Ali and Alejandro are already parents to 17-month-old son Marcelo Alejandro and five-year-old daughter, Estela Ines.

Ali and Alejandro married in 2006.

The former Miss USA famously wed Mario Lopez in 2004 but the couple split two weeks after the ceremony following allegations he had cheated.

Last year she revealed she abstained from having sex with her director husband until after their vows, fearing their relationship would face a similar demise.

“Because of the situation I was in before, I was just treading lightly, and did not want to make any mistakes in this relationship," she told American chat show host Wendy Williams, adding, “We abstained from having sex until we got married.”

She also revealed she struggled for a long time with Mario’s alleged adultery.

“I confronted him and he still – to this day – denied it and never apologised,” she said. “It was horrible.”

Her relationship with Alejandro and her beautiful family has helped her to move on.

After she met her husband at a theology class in Los Angeles she never looked back.

“I discovered a lot about myself and I'm a better woman because of it,” Ali said, adding, “He was the person I was meant to be with.”

Mario has moved on as well. The television presenter married longtime girlfriend Courtney Mazza last December.

The couple share a two-year-old daughter named Gia and are expecting their second child in September.
