Alicia Vikander talks film family

Alicia Vikander now understands why actors enjoy working with the same people again.

The actress seems to be producing film after film right now, starring in Ex Machina, Tulip Fever and Testament of Youth.

She never tires of the job or the people she works with, as she has such a special bond with them all.

"You never know whether a film is going to be good or bad," she admitted to the British edition of Marie Claire.

"You choose the people you want to work with, and as long as you have passion for the project, you give it your best. You become very close to people, like a family. I remember wondering why so many actors and directors work together again and again, and now I know why."

The 26-year-old star hails from Sweden but left her home to pursue acting. It means she has a pretty unsettled life, but it's a sacrifice she's willing to make.

"I've been living out of a suitcase for four years," she revealed.

"I left home when I was 15 to go to the Royal Swedish Ballet School. I have five siblings and I miss Gothenburg where my family is, but I also feel at home in north London, where I've just bought a flat."

Alicia is making the most of her time in the British capital and has already planned to visit the Royal Opera House for a show. She loves listening to classical music, so it's a treat for the star.
