Alyssa Milano's surprise party 'prom-themed'

Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano had a blast at her birthday bash last weekend.

The actress will turn 40-years-old on December 19.

Alyssa's husband of three years David Bugliari threw his wife a surprise party at The London in West Hollywood on Friday.

The celebration was a dream night for the star.

"It's prom-themed because Alyssa didn't have a prom and hers would have been in 1990s," a source told Us Weekly magazine.

"Everybody dressed up and everyone got a corsage when they walked in."

Numerous famous faces attended the soiree, including Alyssa's friends Brian Grazer, Ludacris and Ken Jeong.

DJ Vicious-Lee played the actress' favourite songs and everyone took snapshots in the photo booth that was reminiscent of prom shots.

"Everyone had a great time!" the source said.

"Alyssa was really surprised. She had no clue!"

Alyssa and David married in 2009 and share 15-month-old song Milo together.
