Breaking down in tears, she states: "I was so scared. I don't know what else I can say."
She tells the camera: "Before Italy I had a happy life. It was very important to get out of my comfort zone and see if that made me turn into an adult."
But after the events in Italy "the whole world knew who I had ever had sex with. I felt like a child again and I know I was a kid".
Directed by Rod Blackhurst and Brian McGinn, the documentary also features interviews with Knox's former co-defendant and ex-boyfriend Sollecito and Italian prosecutor Giuliano Mignini.
Entitled Amanda Knox, the documentary launch worldwide on September 30.
