Amanda Bynes in court
Amanda Bynes reportedly remained "virtually silent" during her court hearing in New York City this morning.
The 27-year-old actress was dressed casually in a sleeveless basketball jersey, black sweatpants and black sneakers and smiled to photographers gathered outside as she arrived at the government building in New York City.
Amanda was ordered to attend the hearing after being arrested for allegedly throwing a bong out of her apartment window in May. She has denied charges of reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and marijuana possession.
A few days after the incident Amanda claimed the arresting officer had sexually assaulted her.
TMZ reports that the former Nickelodeon star was "virtually silent" inside the courtroom this morning.
The judge has postponed the case until August 26.
Earlier this year, Amanda pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license and was placed on three years' probation.
Amanda posted a series of messages on Twitter in the early hours of this morning, revealing details about her recent plastic surgery.
She hit out at her surgeon, saying mistakes were made during a procedure.
"My Nose Is Broken I'm Bruised I Can't Wait For My Next Surgery," she wrote.
"My Broken Nose Is Making The Bone Under My Eyes Protrude So I Won't Stop Getting Surgery Until That Bone Is Shaved Off... My Surgeon Broke My Nose During My Surgery But Hasn't Finished My Nose! It's Still Broken And I Can't Breathe! (sic)"
