Amanda Bynes' 'parents track her via cab app'

Amanda Bynes' parents have reportedly come up with a new way to ensure they know where their daughter is.

The 28-year-old actress has been going through a difficult period recently, which saw her hospitalised after being placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold. She made a string of claims about her father Rick abusing her too and has been made the subject of a conservatorship order, meaning her mother Lynn and father make all decisions about her finances.

It's thought the couple are planning to move away from California and hand the care of their daughter over to professionals in an effort to rebuild a bond with her. Although at the moment they are said to be doing all they can to look after her.

"Amanda’s mom, Lynn, set up the Uber car service on her daughter's cell phone,” a source told Radar. “Uber can take Amanda anywhere she needs to go and it’s paid for out of Amanda’s estate, since her mom has conservatorship."

Apparently this agreement is working well from both sides. Amanda is said to be happy she has some independence, while her parents aren't so concerned, as they can quickly tell where she is.

Although they want the best for their daughter, Lynn and Rick are still said to be intent on moving. It was previously reported that they feel if they are less involved with the conservatorship, they will be able to bond with Amanda again.

"Amanda’s parents are getting ready to move back to Texas. They had only come out to California after Amanda started exhibiting serious problems and they feel they've done all they can," the source explained.

The troubled star has previously accused her parents of keeping her from her money on Twitter. She also used the social networking site to explain she has been diagnosed with manic depression and bipolar disorder, adding that she has been seeing a psychologist and psychiatrist every week.

"What is wrong with them? My lawyer is working to have them fully removed from being my conservator, because they don't deserve control over my money - They are miserable in their life and I will fight to get control of my finances taken away from them ! (sic)" she wrote on Twitter at the beginning of last month.
