Amber Davies' mum not offended by daughter's Love Island sex

Amber Davies' mum has insisted her daughter's sexual antics on Love Island are "human" and "normal".
The 20-year-old brunette pocket rocket was seen getting intimate with partner Kem Cetinay on Tuesday night's (13Jun17) episode, making her one of the first contestants to get lucky on the 2017 series of the ITV2 show.
And while some people criticised her decision to ignore the lack of privacy in the shared bedroom and get passionate with Kem, Amber's mother Susan has defended her offspring for going with her gut.
"Obviously it’s not something you want to watch your daughter doing but at the end of the day it’s what the show is about," she told Wales' Daily Post newspaper. "It’s human, it’s normal. I know we don’t want it all over national TV but it wasn’t explicit."
Susan added that when the scenes came on, she merely smiled and closed her eyes. However, her husband has yet to watch it, with the psychiatric nurse adding: "I was downstairs watching it and my husband had gone to bed so I’m not sure how he feels about it yet."
And when it comes to Amber's choice of partner, her mum is more than approving of Kem.
"I think they’re lovely together and I think he’s really grown on Amber," she gushed. "I do think that he’s full of fun and humorous and she loves that. He’ll make her happy. I really do think she’s fallen for him."
Wednesday night's episode of Love Island saw Kem and Dom Lever, who had also taken his relationship with partner Jess Shears to the next level the previous evening, celebrating and congratulating each other on their sexual prowess.
Amber's session with Kem came after they enjoyed a romantic first date outside of the villa lemon picking, while Dom and Jess were given the hideaway as they celebrated her 24th birthday.
