Amy Adams: I yell at rude people

Amy Adams’ friends are amazed by how feisty she is when people annoy her.

The actress is a stickler for rules and believes people should always be decent to each other. It means she gets very worked up if she sees anyone being rude to another person while she is out and about, resulting in her often voicing her disapproval.

"I went to the gym yesterday and waited in line when someone jumped the queue. I yelled at her, because I can't stand it when people are rude. My friends always tell me I'm like a hall monitor reprimanding everyone," Amy laughed to Grazia magazine.

Amy has been nominated for an Oscar for her work on The Master this year; the fourth time she has been in the running for one of the awards.

Despite her successful career, she manages to stay out of the limelight when she isn't working. She and her fiancé Darren Le Gallo have two-year-old daughter Aviana together and Amy is determined to give her a normal life.

"I look after my little daughter, work in the garden and go to the supermarket. By now, the paparazzi are bored to death as they only get to snap me with my shopping bags," she laughed.

Amy and Darren met in 2001 and got engaged in 2008. They are very happy together and the actress is in no hurry to walk down the aisle.

She feels fully comfortable around Darren, laughing he is even happy for her to pull on her "old shorts" and dance around to heavy metal while doing the cleaning.
