Anastacia and Brendan Cole's Strictly Come Dancing rows
Anastacia and Brendan Cole are said to be determined to put their bickering behind them and emerge victorious in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
Anastacia and Brendan Cole have reportedly been raising eyebrows with their backstage bickering at Strictly Come Dancing.
The pair were always going to be a fiery couple, with both Anastacia and Brendan known for their outspoken attitudes. And now The Sun newspaper have reported the dancing duo have been butting heads while preparing for the programme's live routines.
According to the publication, having to change the routines to cope with Anastacia's recent injury, stemming from the scar tissue from her double mastectomy tearing, has left Brendan struggling to remain calm and collected.
"Brendan is not the most patient of dancers," a source told the publication. "They’ve had to tweak all their dance moves because of her injuries – they can’t even do any lifts or sudden turns.
"His previous partners like Natasha Kaplinsky, Lulu and Kirsty Gallacher have dealt with his outbursts, but Anastacia doesn’t take any crap and fights back."
However, the pair's joint determination to emerge victorious and take home the prestigious Glitterball trophy is outweighing their quibbles.
“But both are determined to make their relationship work on the dance floor and move up that table," the source added.
Anastacia and Brendan hit headlines in the second week when they were given an out of the dance-off due to the singer's injuries - leading to Kiss FM Melvin Odoom being axed after the exit decision was based solely on the public vote.
Then last week, EastEnders actress Tameka Empson was voted off the show, despite having to compete in the dance-off while injured. It was claimed that Tameka was upset that she was treated differently to Anastacia, but as she appeared on ITV's This Morning on Thursday (13Oct16), the I'm Outta Love star insisted that wasn't the case.
"i don't speak for her but we've talked and there is no situation between us," Anastacia said. "She was proud to do the dance-off and has not been comparing herself to me."
