Andre joins celebrities in jungle

Peter Andre will surprise the jungle campmates before setting them a song challenge

Peter Andre is to make a nostalgic return to the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, heading into camp for a surprise guest appearance.

The singer and TV presenter, who met his now-former wife Katie Price when he appeared on the show in 2004, will set the remaining six contestants a special musical challenge.

It comes after glamour model and DJ Emily Scott became the latest celebrity to be booted out of the Australian wilderness.

The 28-year-old Australian polled the fewest public votes in last night's show, losing out to athlete Fatima Whitbread, who came in the bottom two.

After spending 12 days in the camp, Emily appeared happy to be out, but admitted she fancied flirting partner Mark Wright.

She said: "I feel amazing. I have had the most incredible time in there and now this is the fun bit.

"I wanted to stay in as long as possible. I'm really proud of myself and proud of everyone."

Today Peter will surprise the contestants by popping out of a large box wrapped in ribbon following a dance competition which will see them strutting to another of his songs Mysterious Girl.

The singer, who famously claimed to have written his track Insania during his last stint on the show, will then challenge the camp-mates to write their own jungle song using bongos, tambourines, and a guitar within an hour. They will then have to perform it to receive a treat.

Last night's episode saw Willie Carson and Crissy Rock face the horror of an overnight stay in a rat-infested cave. The duo - the oldest contestants left in the ITV1 show - were left to endure the stint with the scurrying rodents in order to win breakfast for the rest of the jungle campers.
