Angelina Jolie has revealed she has hung on to her inner bad girl - but she saves it for partner Brad Pitt these days.
The 36-year-old actress is now a mother of six, but she was once a hard-partying Hollywood wild child.
Angelina told US TV show 60 Minutes: "I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them.
"I didn't die young, so I'm very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn't survive certain things."
The Oscar-winning actress declined to go into detail, but before she met Brad she was known for her wild ways. She married first husband Jonny Lee Miller wearing black rubber trousers and a t-shirt with his name written on it in blood.
During her marriage to Billy Bob Thornton she wore a vial of his blood around her neck and had his name tattooed on her arm.
Angelina said: "I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst, and for many reasons I shouldn't be here. You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far."
But she insists becoming a mother and a UN goodwill ambassador doesn't mean she's changed too much.
She said: "I'm still a bad girl. I still have that side of me. It's just in its place now ... It belongs to Brad."
