Anna Paquin has revealed that while she has a very "nesty" side, she sometimes dreams of running away.
The actress is pregnant and believed to be expecting twins with her husband Stephen Moyer. Anna says that while she has settled down she still feels the need for an adventure at times. The 29-year-old star admitted that while she is excited about impending motherhood, she is still a free spirit at heart.
"I have a side that's very nesty, and another that thinks, 'Let's lock up the house and go away for five months,'" she explained in an interview with Redbook magazine.
Anna stars in True Blood as Sookie Stackhouse, alongside partner Stephen. Her character is romantically involved with Alexander Skarsgård's, and Anna has no qualms about filming their sex scenes.
"We feel completely comfortable together. Steve [Moyer] and Alex are buddies. It's nothing like, 'Oh, hi, nice to meet you. Now let's take off our clothes and go into the fog.' Everyone is very respectful of each other's boundaries...They're all very gentlemanly about it," she said.
The blonde beauty also spoke about how she won the coveted role of Sookie in the popular HBO show. The star got herself in the right mindset for the casting by buying a sexy outfit that would suit the part, but not necessarily her own style.
"Fake it to make it," she said. "I went out and bought some incredibly short shorts and a push-up bra. ... It's not that I'm a prude, but I'm not a massive exhibitionist, either."
