Anne Hathaway 'contemplating children'
Anne Hathaway and her husband have apparently discussed having children following her success during awards season.
The actress enjoyed considerable success during the recent awards season, taking home a series of prizes for her role in Les Misérables. Now it seems Anne could take a break from work to start a family with her husband Adam Shulman.
“She hasn’t fully committed to starring in [dark comedy movie] Laggies just yet because she’s thinking about having a baby,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “It’s a topic that came up after awards season, especially after Anne won the Oscar and felt justified in taking a break from making films.
“Her career has always been the most important thing to her, but now she’s achieved so much already, she’s thinking that becoming a mother should be her next big role.”
Anne has made no secret of her desire to have children.
The 30-year-old recently revealed she is looking forward to “nesting”. She also expressed her delight to have found the perfect guy to raise a family with.
“I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was 16. But I also wanted to have a career, so I have been chomping at the bit to be a mother for a really long time,” she explained. “I also had to find a baby daddy first - which I now have.”
Adam married Adam in September last year. While there was speculation that the couple may take time to enjoy their life as newlyweds, it appears they are already discussing babies.
“Anne and Adam are very happy, and he’s very relaxed about the situation. He will do anything Anne wants to make her happy,” the insider added. “At the moment, they’re contemplating if now’s the right time to have a baby. No one would be surprised if she was pregnant before the end of the year.”
