Another Big Brother twist will see two housemates quietly evicted
Two Big Brother housemates will be evicted on Sunday, but viewers on social media are divided over this latest twist.
Presenter Emma Willis revealed on Friday that voting for the winner will be suspended at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
At that point, the two contestants with the lowest number of votes from the public will be immediately evicted.
The unlucky duo, having fallen at the last hurdle, will walk out of the famous Elstree house with no fanfare.
They will not be greeted by a crowd and there will be no interview with Willis.
The final of the Channel 5 series will be broadcast on Tuesday.
On Twitter, one viewer backed the twist because it would further reduce the number of finalists.
However, another user of the social media site objected to the development and branded it " disgusting" and "harsh".
Former housemates Lateysha Grace and Ryan Ruckledge - who was a contestant on The X Factor in 2015 - will return for a task.
On Friday, Laura Carter became the latest contestant to be evicted.
The 30-year-old actress and model's liaison with Marco Pierre White Jr, the son of the celebrity chef, sparked controversy because he was engaged at the time.
Carter was voted out in what was supposed to be the last eviction of the series.
Andy West, Jason Burrill and Jackson Blyton were spared.
But the trio are now back up for the public vote on Sunday alongside Hughie Maughan, Evelyn Ellis, Sam Griffen, Jayne Connery and Alex Cannon.
