Ant and Dec get ready to rhumble
Ant and Dec and Sir Bruce Forsyth plan to belt out a song together at the National Television Awards, according to reports.
The unlikely trio will open the bash at the O2 Arena by singing Nat King Cole's Let There Be Love, The Sun and the Daily Mirror said.
A source said that the presenting rivals had practised their performance at studios in West London, telling the Mirror: "It sounded great. There was a bit of a crowd gathering to listen when word got around they were in the studio.
"Nobody could work out why those three celebrities would be working together on something. It was a huge shock."
Geordie duo Ant and Dec, who are in the running for the best entertainment presenter, had a short-lived career as singers PJ and Duncan, with songs such as Let's Get Ready To Rhumble.
After their performance, Sir Bruce and Ant and Dec will go head-to-head, with the shows they host, Strictly Come Dancing and Britain's Got Talent, up for best talent show.
According to The Sun, the ceremony will also see host Dermot O'Leary replaced by Kermit the Frog, when the X Factor presenter has to leave the stage when the award he is nominated for, best entertainment presenter, is announced.
