Ant and Dec claim they've only ever fallen out once.

TV stars Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 37, have been friends since they met on children's BBC drama Byker Grove 24 years ago. They went on to form pop act PJ and Duncan and now work together presenting show's like Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Dec revealed to Star magazine: "We've only had a fight once, in Spain, after we'd both had a few too many lemonades.

"We were in a lift and he was wearing a cap, and I knocked it off and he punched me in the chest. But we were kids, we were PJ and Duncan at the time.

"I can't remember what it was about, but we argued in the lift about something and it was the world's worst fight ever. It was awful. It didn't last long, it was a really painful fight.

"But apart from that, we don't fall out really... we bicker at times, just over football and golf but that's about it. We don't really argue."

And the pair claim they have only ever gone two weeks without seeing each other, over Christmas or summer holidays.

Dec added: "Even then we text each other."
